Under Graduate Programmes
A candidate who has successfully qualified in the following examinations.
- Any candidate who has successfully completed 10+2 of the Tamilnadu Higher Secondary Board Examinations / CBSE / or any other equivalent course
- Private Candidates under Open Schooling System.
- Higher Secondary or Equivalent Examinations conducted by all other State Boards.
- Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), New Delhi.
Post Graduate Programmes
- All Under Graduate degree examinations conducted by recognized Universities.
Research Programmes
- A candidate who has successfully completed PG degree in the relevant subject.
Eligibility Certificate from University Of Madras required for the following categories of Students
- Candidates, Who have passed the following examinations, must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the University Of Madras
- Private Candidates under Open Schooling System.
- Higher Secondary or Equivalent Examination conducted by all State Boards other than Tamil Nadu State Board
- All degree (UG/PG) examinations conducted by University Other than University of Madras
- Candidates who have passed the course of study from Board / University that are not listed in the CBSE / UGC / World list of University will not be approved for the admission in UG/PG courses of this University.
- Candidates who have passed under 10+1 are Not Eligible for admission to Three Year Under Graduate Degree Course.
- Candidates who have passed the degree course under 10+1+3 or 10+2+2 or 11+1+2 are Not Eligible for admission to Post Graduate Degree Course
